Guest guest
Pat I met with Mr Treacy a few weeks ago. He said He and McMinn had now done more than 2700. Failure rate less than 1% (fantastic!) a few infections, a few that probably should not have been done. I think the rate will be better as they are gaining skill at careful assessment of the suitability of complicated cases. I think they have 20 patients with special symmetrical beads located in their prosthesis so as to get data from special x-ray technology to prove long term stability of the prostheses. Who out there told me they only another 12 months data to get the system totally approved? Then it will become routine for more and more lucky people.
