Guest guest
Has anyone heard of this? The pain Dr. Gave me a DVD on it. They implant something in the spine and run wires up the spine. When you have pain you push the button and it is supposed to help. Anyway I decided it was not for me. Maybe it would be for others.
Guest guest
Yes, I have one implanted. The device is called a spinal cord stimulator and it helps with nerve pain, not mechanical pain. I had my Boston Scientific/Precision model installed in June of 08, and it has been my salvation from all of the nerve pain that I had on my legs. wrote: Has anyone heard of this? The pain Dr.. Guest guest
Its called an interstim. I know someone that has one and its has changed her life. It enabled her to really function in life and get back to work. They do have a trial period when they try it out in a patient. medusa Ellett wrote: > Has anyone heard of this? Guest guest
Hi , I had the stimulator implanted in 2007. All I can say is that it was the best decision I've ever made! The amount of relief I get is fantastic!! Jef wrote: Has anyone heard of this? The pain Dr. Gave me a DVD on it. They implant something in the spine and run wires up the spine. Everyone is different though so what didn't work for me may work for you. Lori in Texas
