Has anyone heard of this? The pain Dr. Gave me a DVD on it. They implant

something in the spine and run wires up the spine. When you have pain you push

the button and it is supposed to help.

Anyway I decided it was not for me. Maybe it would be for others.

Yes, I have one implanted. The device is called a spinal cord stimulator and it

helps with nerve pain, not mechanical pain. I had my Boston Scientific/Precision

model installed in June of 08, and it has been my salvation from all of the

nerve pain that I had on my legs.

Its called an interstim. I know someone that has one and its has

changed her life. It enabled her to really function in life and get back

to work. They do have a trial period when they try it out in a patient.

Hi ,

I had the stimulator implanted in 2007. All I can say is that it was the best

decision I've ever made! The amount of relief I get is fantastic!!

I have heard of them and even had one of their products for a while. I had

trouble with it three times before I switched brands all together. Everyone is

different though so what didn't work for me may work for you.
