Guest guest
While on break, I tripped over our new kitten while holding my bottle of medication and walking into the bathroom. The medication went flying everywhere and some of it went down the sink, just my luck!!! I got most of the pills out of the drain but some of the coating has come off of the pills, they are extended relief, and now I'm scared to take them. I'm going to the Pain Dr. tomorrow and am going to explain the situation. I'm always scared he is going to think I'm lying or just want more medication, not because of how he acts, but because of past experiences. He fills medication every 30 days with NO lead way on refills whatsoever. My last Pain Dr. gave an extra two days in case of emergency, which really helped. Has this ever happened to anyone else and if so, what did you do about it? It says on the bottle not to crush, chew or remove coating. I know I could get all the medication at once and this could be very dangerous. I thought about just trying to cut down on the pills to make up for the lost ones but I am in so much pain these days I can barely sleep as it is. I work full time and not sleeping is not an option! Thanks and hope everyone has a VERY GOOD NEW YEAR! Cheers. Caitlin
