asking me about drinking before i came in - when i don't and NEVER have. I

felt like yelling at them - " hey, listen up - read your own medical books -

Hi Debbie,

Part of my frustration is that after the reporter called me back and had a

questioning tone in her voice I reviewed some of the websites I had

bookmarked. Unfortunately, almost every one of them still sited alcohol as

the number one cause of Pancreatitis. Most of them said it was responsible

for 90% of the cases. Even the books I read recently, published in 1998 and

1999 said the same thing. They did however, list the other 30+ reasons but

still sited alcohol as number one.

I am eager to finish the book I am writing because it will speak the true

voice of the experts, the persons whose lives are affected by this

catastrophic and debilitating disease.
