Does anyone have pain from neuropathy.I have sciatic nerve damage and have pain,burning,and numbness in rt leg from calf to foot. It is painfull everyday. I am on neurontin and elavil at night but the meds do not do to much. I also have started to have back problems again due to my foot drop and the way I walk. I had back surgery in '05; a microdiscectomy at L2/L3 and got nerve damage from that and I am having pretty bad excruciating pain from it. I am on neurontin, zanaflex and oxycontin with percocet for break thru and the meds dont help very much. I am also having numbness, burning pain in my neck, arms and hands from cervical disc problems. Are you a nurse? I am assuming you are from your email addy, well I am too. Well I should say I was. I am now on disability. I worked as a l & d nurse for 24 yrs. I recently went on disability so I am pretty sad about the pain as well as the loss of my work. I really enjoyed my work and now I feel pretty worthless without it. Welcome to the group. I look forward to having you to talk to as well as others from this group.
