Hi Bev,

I too have neuropathy. I had back surgery in '05; a microdiscectomy at L2/L3 and

got nerve damage from that and I am having pretty bad excruciating pain from it.

I am on neurontin, zanaflex and oxycontin with percocet for break thru and the

meds dont help very much. I am also having numbness, burning pain in my neck,

arms and hands from cervical disc problems.

Are you a nurse? I am assuming you are from your email addy, well I am too. Well

I should say I was. I am now on disability. I worked as a l & d nurse for 24 yrs.

I recently went on disability so I am pretty sad about the pain as well as the

loss of my work. I really enjoyed my work and now I feel pretty worthless

without it.

Welcome to the group. I look forward to having you to talk to as well as others

from this group.

It helps having others with the same difficulties to talk to because they really

do understand what you're going through.
