I took it for a year. It is a very effective med for this type of

pain. I retained a lot of water and had lots of sweats, which I hated.

If not for that I would still use it.

It's also very cost effective. Only 10$ or so per month.

It's a bear to wean off of but if using it for a long term problem it gas it's +

and- the plus would be cheap long acting and effective the minus you have to go

slow on weaning up and for tht matter down as well. It's got less chance of

psych abuse especially for someone addiction prone

Hi Deb

Any narcotic that someone has been taking for a long time should be weaned

slowly when going off of it. This is also true for a variety of psych,

anti-seizure medications and so forth.

You're right no one should just go off any of these medications abruptly.
