Guest guest
What does that mean when a doctor tells you that " we only treat you for what you came in for. " I did go in for asthma and they did x-rays for pneumonia and it was negative. And then the nurse had already asked me what my pain level was and then just gave me Tylenol for the migraine I had. I even asked if he could give me Imitrex, though it doesn't always work. The last time I was there the PA shockingly gave me dilaudid for a h/a though it had wore off by the time I left, and they must have assumed that my oldest son could drive because they didn't even bother to ask anything about a driver or nothing. It has been awhile since I was treated for pain in the ER. Both times I went in for asthma and I get a migraine and get treated great one time and the next time I get told, " you mention such and such a medicine, pretty soon you'll be telling me what to prescribe you " All I know is that I wasn't impressed and each doctor is different. I don't know whether to say something to the hospital or not?
