Hi ,

I am so sorry to hear you have been in so much pain! I am also so very sorry to

hear your doctor isn't seeming to want to really help you to control your pain.

I have Toradol that I take when my pain is beyond what Celebrex can help with.

But, I was told by numerous doctors that it cannot, or should not, be taken for

more than a short period of time because it can cause stomach and kidney issues.

I am sorry the doctor waited until five to call in the prescription for you, but

I'm glad he did so you can get some help with your pain.

I would find a new doctor since your current doctor seems to be unwilling to

help you control your pain. I hope and pray you can find a pain management

doctor within the next two weeks so you do not have to suffer like you have

been!

I wish I knew why it seems we have to beg for help with our chronic pain. You

are right, it is very humiliating. As well as emotionally painful, stressful,

draining both physically and mentally, among other things. You are not alone in

feeling this way either. I, for one, have experienced what you have been and I

am almost completely positive many here on this group and around the world have

has well.

It's not right, in my opinion, that many of us who suffer from chronic pain get

treated so poorly sometimes. I know it is rough on the medical field as well

because of how most chronic pain conditions are " unseen " and for fear of the

DEA.

In my opinion, I think the DEA needs to be re-organized as well as changing,

removing, and possibly adding in new laws in order to help us.

I hope and pray you can find some relief and a new pain doctor so you don't have

to quit, or lose, your part time job!

Love,

Becky in SD

Why do we have to beg? Would they make an infected person beg for

antibiotics?

It just gets so humiliating. I only have 2 weeks worth so

my mission this week is to find a pain management doctor.

I am so glad to see you posting again and you always have encouraging

advice. I am glad you are doing better also and have been thinking of

you.

Funny how we miss one another when we don't post. Sometimes I don't

post when I am feeling really bad and also when I feel well and busy.

So I do notice when others seem to go Missing In Action. We are lucky

to have members in this group that really seem to care about one

another.

Hope everyone else is making it through this hot summer. I am in Texas

and it has been a scorcher. Bennie
