Guest guest
Cyrill, Please let your Mother know that I think she is an amazing woman. She has definitely proven her tenactiy through life and how she has had such a will to live for her children. Lori >Cyrill in OK wrote: My mother who is still living is a World War II Marine. She is going to be honored at the Marine Corp birthday next week at Ft Sill Ok, Oklahoma City luncheon and a veterans celebration at Halliburton in Duncan, OK. Oldest Marine able to attend. Let's all dream about things changing in our lives and not staying the same. I watched her learn to walk all over again at 62 after a traumatic car accident and 6 months in the hospital. She is quite an inspiration to me. One day at a time...and hang onto some dreams.
Guest guest
Here, here! Same for me. She sounds like an amazing woman! And please tell her thank you for her service. My stepfather (now deceased) used to say I was the most patriotic of the family because I had my oldest child on Veteran's Day. I never served, but console myself that I've raised to fine sons who are good members of the community and good men. I'm lucky enough to live near the vet's cemetery and visit often. Each time I go on Memorial day or Veteran's day I pray that someday I'll be able to volunteer up there and help put out the flags. in Oregon <lori wrote: > > Cyrill, > > Please let your Mother know that I think she is an amazing woman.
