i agree that rheumatologists are weird. mine has never anything to say

unless its RA fibro or lupus related. except last visit it about floored me when

he told me i needed a new MRI that he thought i have a nerve impingement in the

left side of my spine. that came out of no where he don't talk about anything

except RA lupus or fibro. even the nurse when she came in to draw blood i told

her what he said she looked serious and said then you better get one he don't

say anything about stuff like that unless he saw something that could cause to

be really serious.

just hang in there. my family dr sent a fax referral to a dr for me but i just

play the wait game now . thank you for all your nice comments .

Chelsea,

I am sorry for the treatment that you received from that Rheumy, isn't that

awful??!! Why is it that most of these Doctor's think that we are in search of

pain medications?

I understand and know that there are a lot of people out there that go Doctor

shopping in order to get their fix, but my God, you were coming with a referral

from your internist!

I hope that all of the testing will tell your story, and will validate all of

the pain that you have. Take care,
