Fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and meds

I've been fortunate to manage my pain mostly with over-the-counter meds, and the

occasional prescription sleeping medication when my sleep gets out of whack.

But I'm starting to get to the point that Ibuprofen and Tylenol just don't cut

it anymore. I have leftover Vicodin from my ankle sprain (only one more week of

wearing the boot, hooray!) and a Midrin prescription for migraines. Thing is, I

don't want to use those for other reasons, then not have them for the reason

they were prescribed.

So, I'm wondering if it's time to talk to my doctor about something more than

over the counters. What experience do people have with Lyrica or what other

meds have you had success with to manage fibro and arthritis?
