Guest guest
Moderator's note: Here is a shorter version of the link: http://tinyurl.com/y8wgmz8 > Told doctor i am going to be in withdrawal didn't matter no meds. Yes sometimes they just want to get rid of you because they aren't getting paid enough if you are on medicare or state aid. Most doctors here will not even see you if you are on state aid or medical. A lot of doctors care only about money and couldn't care less about code of ethics. This has been what I have seen. Vivian and Honey, These doctors need to be reported as they are violating the Pain Patients Rights, In Connenicuit, I came across the link and information by typing in the State and doctor license department . I also found a patient advocacy site while researching patient bill of rights. http://library.uchc.edu/departm/hnet/advocacy.html#top It is listed as Patient Advocacy Resources. I don't think this doctor should get away with this and I know of an association that can provide you with a doctor in your area but you have to contact me privately. I had to do this when I needed a doctor to evaluate my case as I was misdiagnosed. Good Luck Bennie
Guest guest
Now this is useful information !!! It does my heart good to see proactive energies rather than just complaining about what is or what is to be. Yes it is nice and necessary to unload but it's better to make right the wrongs of this world. Doctors in my opinion are getting away with all too often lack of diagnostic skills and unethical, inhuman treatment of some patients. They need to be taken to task and have liabilities outlined for them with ramifications when they don't. That is why I encourage others to research. In Nursing school, I learned the medical sites and as an auditor in the military I had to research everything that came accross my desk. It also it self empowering to learn how to do this as if you get stuck complaining, you just become more and more depressed. I do not mean this against anyone as I have done it. I do not have enough energy to do both so I have to chose the one that will help me the most. I have posted over and over to keep a pain dairy and those that don't and still have problems with their doctor are not being proactive and letting their doctors be in charge. Health care has to be both the patient and doctor and I appreciate your opinion. Once or twice, three, four, is venting but then you have to move on and do something about it . The time spending complaining, a letter could have been written and as I say, it will help someone else prevent having the bad experience. Also, the office managers, health administrators, patient advocacy officers are being paid a salary and they need the job to dol Thanks Medusa.
