one hint that may help. If you keep turning it up and not getting it help, Just

keep turning it higher. I know its really rough to do it but most of the time

you will reach a place where all of a sudden it starts working great. So don't

be shy about turning it up even if it makes you uncomfortable right then.

Randy,

I am so sorry to hear that your pain scale went so incredibly high

post-op. It is something that honestly didn't happen to me but that

could be because my pain is located in my legs.

I do understand about not knowing for sure if it is working or not.

Is this your trial or did they do the actual implant? I am hoping

this is your trial and that your incision pain will decrease so you

can tell if it is worth the surgery or not.

Still thinking about you,

Lori

Thanks Randyt

I have been thinging about the stimulator and am reading every thing I can

on it. Talking to people who have had it. I am very afraid of the surgery!!

Please keep on telling how things are going and your begin so honest

instead of putting up a front. THANKS

Randy,

I had to make the choice of a three level spinal fusion to keep my back

functional to walk so I took it and did great. But the auto accident that

followed messed up my SI joint. Is the simulator trial helping?

You have made a decision based on research so you if it helped you,

then it will help you. I do not want the pain pump because of the recent

recalls.

It does not mean it is not effective, for some but it is not my time for that

and it does cause infection malfunctions, has a huge cost tor refills so I do

not want it right now.

With the instrumentation and cages I have, I am committed to stay on

opiod therapy as long as I can, monitor my labs,

and stay away from anything invasive until its time and the trial

simulator is on the list for me to in the future.

Good Luck, you have to do what you have to do, just make sure it is

with the best you can find.

It is normal to worry a little.

Bennie
