Guest guest
> The knee problem is very painful but hopefully that will all come to an end when my orthopedist replaces it next month on the 15th.> Lori, that sounds promising! I am so frustrated with not knowing what's wrong. That bothers me (psychologically) more than anything else. I don't know much about RSD. Is it localized? Or does it spread to different areas? I had lyme disease many years ago as well, and have had joint pain since them, but it's more discomfort than " pain " . I now test completely negative for lyme titers. I feel neither better nor worse after the infusion. Although I am tired after the numerous antihistamine doses. We'll see what happens. Guest guest
, I am so sorry that I didn't respond sooner. We went out of town for Thanksgiving & I am slightly caught up right now so I can read emails again. To answer your first question, RSD can be localized as in one arm or leg. RSD can spread as in my case. It spread from my right leg to my left leg last February. When I went to my pain specialist as quick as I could, he told me that he had bad news for me. He said that because of the way it spread into the left leg that told him that my RSD is actually coming from my spine. He ordered a MRI to be done to see what was going on. The MRI showed that my vertebrae are oddly shaped in the center where the spinal cord is protected. There are people out there that have developed full body RSD & it is very hard on them. I hope I answered your questions well. Lori wrote: I don't know much about RSD. Is it localized? Or does it spread to different areas?
