As a nurse I did many of these. It's perfectly safe if you apply antibiotic

and bandaid after.

Why pay $50 if you have the intestinal fortitutude or a good friend who can

do it for ou?

If it's broken there's nothing can be done for a toe anyway except rest and

ice.

You are right. It usually is numb over the area the blood is, I would

have to have someone

else do it now. When I was younger, I did it myself. I always tape my

broken toe to the

good toe providing stability.

Funny how we can tolerate things when we are younger or when we are

doing it

to someone else. Bennie
