Guest guest
As a nurse I did many of these. It's perfectly safe if you apply antibiotic and bandaid after. Why pay $50 if you have the intestinal fortitutude or a good friend who can do it for ou? If it's broken there's nothing can be done for a toe anyway except rest and ice. Carolyn, You are right. It usually is numb over the area the blood is, I would have to have someone else do it now. When I was younger, I did it myself. I always tape my broken toe to the good toe providing stability. Funny how we can tolerate things when we are younger or when we are doing it to someone else. Guest guest
My doctor's favorite line is " Now this isn't going to hurt me a bit. " Right before he pokes me.
