Guest guest
Pain is now considered an illness unto itself that needs treatment. You are absolutely correct when you say you need and MRI for further diagnosis. Many doctors are still too conservative and they put you thru x-rays first and all the other stuff you mentioned. That hasn't worked so it is time to find a pain specialist who will take your complaints more seriously, especially if you have weakness. Another primary doctor is seriously in order if that is what you must do first before going to any specialists. Blood tests don't show where the pain is and can rule out certain illnesses like lupus but they don't tell anyone what is wrong if they are negative. This is why it takes so long for many people to get a diagnoses. a >mdavenport81 wrote: >I have not been given a solid diagnosis, they say there is slight arthritis in my hips, but it doesn't explain the rest of the pain. I am 29 yrs old and should not feel like this, I can't help but think there is a simple explanation but they are not looking for it.
