Wide awake with only an hour before the alarm

Here it is, almost 5 am, and the alarm clock goes off at 6 this

morning. I can't call in sick - I'm giving my undergraduates their

final exam at 9 a.m.! Hey, the bright side is that at least I'm not

the ones having to take it! I just have to manage not to fall asleep

sitting up in front of the class - don't want to be caught snoring with

drool running down my chin by a bunch of 20 year olds.

Being in too much pain to sleep, without a doubt, in one of the worst

things about pain.
