new here...at my wits end!

I am not even sure where to start. I was in an accident going on 4 yrs ago and

initially damaged my left hip and had a couple of surgeries to repair damage

there. The pain in my left hip, buttocks, and groin never went away and I am

still unable to walk without using a crutch. Have swelling in that whole left

leg.

In Nov I was going through testing for workers comp (accident happened at work)

and injured my lower back, so now trying to deal with that pain as well. I am

getting ready to see my 12th doctor, but not until next month.

At night my hands had been falling asleep, however, the last 1-2 weeks, I am

having lots of pain in my hands, mostly my right and they are really swollen

when I wake up, but again mostly my right hand.

Sometimes my hands and wrist hurt so much I can barely move them, even to rub in

lotion. Also the bottom of my right foot feels tingly. Does anyone know what

could cause this? Sorry this is so long. I guess I need to vent a little, too!

Have you had an MRI done to see why you are in so much pain? Some of the pain

and numbness could be cause by spinal issues and impinge nerves, so if I was

you, I would demand an MRI ASAP. Since this happened at work, you need to go

through Workers Comp. I know that they are a pain in the rear but you need to

protect yourself.

If you have already seen a Doc, what does he say is wrong with you? Did he give

you a diagnosis? Did tests to find out what is going on? Like I said before,

even if they did X-Ray's, you want an MRI! MRI's tell the whole story, X-Ray's

don't.

Another thing, make sure to hire a Workers Comp lawyer, you want your rights

under WC to be protected, so even if your don't want to, is a good idea to have

one. Take care and I hope that the source of your pain could be sorted out soon.
