Yes, also got that I have a fail surgery due to my lumbar issues, I had a 3 level/360 fusion-L2 to L5 that failed and then 4 Laminectomies to fix what the first surgeon did to my back, so it's been quite the road for me, and now cervical issues to add to my agony! Never ends! Talk to you soon. > Millie > > Millie, I was told that three levels were not normally done and when I did that, I had a three level L4,5, s-1 and that I should kiss any lifting good by as I had instrumentation with rods on both sides, a laminectomy on each, and a Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (TLIF) which they placed these cages to keep my vertabral spaces open with cages placed between them and screwed so that I have function. They then did bone graft from my hip for fusion which worked. This procedure like any on the spine puts pressure on the remaining vertabrae above and below. My neurosurgeon told me that the people who have the most problems are the ones that think they can go back out there and do heavy lifting etc but need to be very careful with their spine. I have tried but an auto accident put me down for a loop. Bennie
