Guest guest
WOW! Thanks for the info. I would never connect the heating blanket/pad but it does make sense. I will definately look into this before I wear another patch. S Stella wrote: Just want to warn any one that uses the fentanyl transdermal patch. I made a big mistake not once but twice. I was just put on in this past April, and when I got home from the hospital my DH surprised me with a big fluffy heating blanket. So After I tried it for the first time, a day after I had it on I was literally overdosing.
Guest guest
Peggy here. as a long time wear of these, (over 10+ years) I thankfully have never had a problem. I did notice where heat was mentioned and as long as the heat source is away from where the patch is, there is usually no problem. I still use my heating pad, but it's on my back and I wear my patch on my abdomen, (where they say not to put it as it says above the waist line. But I had talked this over with my doc and this is the only place they will stick and I still have to use the transparent covers that Janssen provides.) Also stay away from Hot tubs as well and over heated pools!!!! " Dance like no one is watching; love like you've never been hurt. Sing like nobody's listening; live like heaven on earth.
