How did you go off fentanyl patches slowly. I just now went down from the

100mcg to the 75mcg and my thought was to do this for a month then do the 50's

etc. Just would like suggestions and I am on lyrica and fiorinal with codeine.

Lois,

I am not off fentanyl yet so don't know if I will be able to do it or not.

My doctor is taking me down just 25mg a month. I started at the 75 every other

day and am now down to 25 every other day. I just went off the 50 yesterday and

today am not doing so hot. But it may be the weather here (rainy) . I have

lots of problems with weather changes effecting my pain.

I am on Percocet, too so that helps keep my pain in check. I would like to

switch over to a long lasting form of that when I make it off the Fentanyl.

I think I will most likely have to be on something the rest of my life to be a

functioning human being because the problem with my neck cannot be fixed and so

will never go away.
