Wow, !

I am sorry that you are in so much pain. I have my days that I wish I never had

gotten out of bed. I have congenital hip dysplasia in both of my hips, I have

had 4 reconstruction surgeries. So far so good with the hips. But I still have

my days.

My back surgery was last year. The back, again is good but like I said I still

have my days. The cold weather makes me hurt really bad.

My right foot is numb from the back surgery. The Gabapentin (Neurontin) has been

wonderful on my foot pain. I take 600 mg twice a day.

It makes me cringe to hear that so many people have so much pain. I knew I

wasn't alone, but geesh. Thank God there are groups like this to help us that

need to vent.

People can say that they understand what we are feeling, but...till they have

walked in our shoes they don't know anything about how we feel.

What is causing your pain? I pray that you get some relief. I hope you and

everyone else on here has a wonderful Easter. Keep me posted, and God Bless

you!

>Since I had it (radio frequency nerve ablation) done I have started cutting

down on the pills (Gabapentin).  I am down to 4 this week.  They are not a pill

you should just stop abruptly.

>I had the nerve in the bottom of my foot burned (radio frequency nerve

ablation).  It was not a fun thing to have done but it has lessened the pain a

lot.  I now know how much the top of my foot hurts.  I will have it done as soon

as I can. I dread having it done but want to get rid of the pain I have suffered

from all these years.
