Caitlin, They can give you an IV valium push at your Closed MRI, you just have a driver. I would let the place you go to that you are claustiphopic. Xanex and Valium wear off and the Radiologist on staff is there to give you another boost if you need it. I also do the visualizations but the noise is still there even thougy you have headsets. It just takes a little coordination but I have found it worth it to get the exams you need. From an old x-ray technican and MRI patient . A doctor here does a nueral scan and is developed a new procedure for injections and I am going to see her and get a second opionion.
