I have a contract with my doctor. I do not hoard pain pills. I wish my doctor

had a contract with me: to get a prescription to me when I call and say I am out

of meds.

It is Sunday going on Monday. I have been rationing my oxycodone and just took

the last 1/2. I called on Friday and the clinic did not get back to me.

Hi

Please be sure to call your doctor about a week prior to a new prescription.

Then call several times during the week, to make sure it gets written.

My family doctor's office never gives refills on Friday. They make it a policy

to wait until Monday, so they won't be swamped on Fridays.

If your pain medication isn't lasting 12 hours, it can be prescribed every 8.

That's not an unusual thing with MS Contin.

Kaylene, Kaylene,

And the twenty-four hour doesn't last that long either, these factors change

with metobolitic situations and different situations with our bodies, our

bodies just aren't robots as some want them to be and I do have to adjust my

meds and my contract states I must call five to seven days out to make

sure I get a refill. If you don't get in a habit of doing this, you will be off

and they will say it is your fault. Bennie
