About being dehydrated. The way my doctor described it to me once was, you know

how you have a super dry potted plant and then you water it, and then the water

just goes straight through and comes out the bottom holes of the pot it's

planted in?

Well, that's what my doctor says happens when you are dehydrated. He says you

can pour in all the water or liquid you want, but it will just flow through and

not get into your cells, like the water not penetrating the super dry soil.

His suggestion was to try to get my water or liquid through foods instead, foods

like fruits and vegetables. Or to not drink water, but to drink things that

contain water, things with a substance, so that they need time to digest.

He said that the time to digest the matter in the liquid, or the liquid from the

veggies is the time a dehydrated body needs to actually absorb some of that

water.

So, I don't know if you are dehydrated or not, or if your water is helping you,

or not. But, I just wanted to share what my doctor shared with me.
