Guest guest
A positive story for a change. >Today I went to the pharmacy to pick up my C2 prescription and I was amazingly, pleasantly surprised. They a) actually had the meds in stock, the wait to turn in the prescription was super short, c) they had my prescription ready in less than 15 minutes, and d) they were professional and courteous. If this pharmacy wasn't helpful and co-operative before this, why didn't you find a different one? I am not being critical, just curious. Guest guest
Kaylene, I don't know about Jade's pharmacy but my place of employment requires me to obtain my prescriptions at a certain pharmacy. If it's a short term prescription I can get it anywhere but anthing I have to take long term, I must go there. It's a real bear because they are not open on Saturday or Sunday and close at 5:30. The good thing is they do deliver to my work so I can drop it off and then have it delivered without any waiting. However, sometimes I've had to go in and just sit and wait because I needed something right away. Becky in Illinois
Guest guest
(((((((jade)))))))) Good for you! I'm glad you're complaint was taken seriously. I would be super pissed too! Thankfully I have a great pharm that has been so helpful. hope things continue well. Tami Jade wrote: > I called the member services for my insurance and I filed a complaint. Guest guest
Due to insurance, I have a limited number of facilities I can go to. This pharmacy I frequent is a couple blocks from home, I can usually get a parking space, and it's on my way to work which makes it sort of convenient. Anyhow, that's why I use that one. The next closest pharmacy on my insurance plan is about 5 miles away in downtown, isn't the best area to be walking around carrying narcotics, and doesn't have the best parking. I'm just glad that they seem to have corrected their service and attitude. I called as follow-up to my complaint, and I was informed that the pharmacy tech who gave me the prescription without checking ID was guilty of a felony, and that the issue I brought up was sent to compliance department for immediate corrective action. No wonder they were so nice to me. They're afraid of me now. Jade Kaylene wrote: If this pharmacy wasn't helpful and co-operative before this, why didn't you find a different one? Guest guest
I am extremely lucky when it comes to my pharmacy. I have had the same pharmacy for 11 years. I know my pharmacist's name, his family and home phone number. He has in the past delivered my meds on his way home. He takes the time to explain new meds if I have a question about them. To make it a little easier on him I call in my pill numbers the day before I pick them up. I have 14 different prescriptions not including the 3 I have to bring in monthly because they are narcotics. When I drop off the 3 scripts he fills them really fast while I wait. Everyone that works there is really nice and treats you better than your family. I love every one of them. My little hometown pharmacy is the best in the USA as far as I am concerned. I am really lucky that I don't have a nightmare pharmacy. Guest guest
I must be one of the fortunate ones as my pharmacy is great! I try to always call for refills at least the day before if not two days before. They generally wait on your very promptly unless it is flu season or something. In fact if I order and do not pick up within two days they will call and remind me to pick up. Very helpful and they go beyond what is expected. Yesterday however I sent my 21 year old daughter in to pick up and the clerk commented to tell her " Grandma " the following info. I do not think I look that old! We all got a laugh about that one! Also in our town is another pharmacy that is very good. It is farther away so I don't use it but my husband does and it is good as well. That pharmacist can remember everyone's name and usually what you get on a regular basis. I need a close one because of all the meds that I take. I do feel for those of you who are by a bad pharmacy. A good pharamcy and pharamcist is so important! Gwen
Guest guest
I had my own experience yesterday They wouldn't give me my Lyrica! The usual pharmacist had the day off. And this regular pharmacist told me that my Lyrica is being held up because it is in " phase Four " ,now, I'll tell you this, plenty of my medications are in phase four. Can they do that? Hold onto my prescription like that? I'll be out of them shortly, just three days left. I'll try again today Oh, by the way, I looked up my account at Humana and they wrote back saying the are covering my prescription, it cost Two hundred twelve dollars and ninety six cents. I'll talk to my " regular " pharmacist today about it. wrote: A positive story for a change. > Today I went to the pharmacy to pick up my C2 prescription and I was amazingly, pleasantly surprised.
