Guest guest
I have fibromyalgia. I finally have the pain and no sleeping somewhat under control. But the fatigue is really getting to me. I go for daily walks. I take vitamins, multi and a complex b vit. I was wondering if there is anything out there to help fight the fatigue, so i can start playing with my kids again. Guest guest
I don't know any magic fixes for fatigue, but something that helped me was to go on this diet called SCD (specific carbohydrate diet). It takes a while to get used to the diet, but once I got on the diet full speed ahead, I felt 100% better. I learned after being on the diet and eating differently that part of my problem with fatigue was the chemicals and additives in the food; things like MSG, hydrolyzed/autolyzed xxx, hydrogenated xxx, " spices " , aspartame, phenylalaline, etc. I also notice that consuming starches like breads, pastries, and pasta make me feel weak and tired. To be supportive, two of my friends went on the diet as well. We all decided to make the SCD foods a way of life. I have been on it for over 3 years now. We all saw dramatic health and energy improvements. We all also got closer to our ideal weight. My one friend and I lost weight which gave us more energy and the one other friend gained weight. In her case the food additives etc she was eating before going on the diet were making her too thin and weak. Just a thought. I don't know what you have tried already, but this SCD really helped turn my life around. Jade >Renae wrote: >I have fibromyalgia. I finally have the pain and no sleeping somewhat under control.
