Guest guest
> Doctors make more money on injections than on writing medications and it has found that epidurals are not really effective after three injections and are not really effective form of treatment anymore (Spine Universe) but insurance still pays for them and we still have them. Not new but have been reading, I have a comment Bennie if I have already had several injections (which I have had), I am seriously considering surgery instead of these injections. The doctor said I could if nothing else worked and I am really getting tired of having those epidural facet injections. I am on Norco 7.5/325 gabepention 2000 mg a day plus my zanaflex, 3x daily. Just need new advice or comments on this. Esther

Hi Esther Which surgery does he recommend? Be sure to as him if the surgery will it truly decrease your pain? If you are talking to a surgeon, he is more likely to think about cutting. Have you tried physical therapy, acupuncture, or anything noninvasive? Surgery is always that last choice when it comes to your spine.
