Guest guest
Hi everyone, and welcome to all the new folks! I have close to 300 posts to catch up on, but wanted to let you all know I am still thinking of you, and reading as I can. Since surgery for scoliosis is doing fantastic. He is sleeping much better, and finally coughing hard enough to set off the high alarms on the vent! Okay, that is good and bad... good he is comfortable enough to cough that hard, bad at setting off alarms and waking everyone up! Apparently we dislodged the g-tube button during surgery and it has been sitting in the track instead of his stomach - for 5 weeks. His angels were working overtime once again as this was a good way to cause peritonitis... and he is fine! We took him to the movies today - first time ever! Saw The Grinch and he did really good - crabby at first, I think because of how loud it is, but then settled down okay. Ray returned home Wednesday as a successful elk hunter... we have 180 pounds of elk meat in our freezer! And he doesn't have to go back to work til Monday, so we actually get to spend some time together! I had a yucky cold last week - although nothing in comparison to Jean... (HUGS hope you are feeling better!) Being congested has contributed to some balance problems. Ended up falling outside, face first in the snow. Leg is bruised, back muscles pulled, tendonitis immediately flared up in left wrist and right elbow. Shoulder blade is retracting, and I am back to the chiropractors on a weekly basis again trying to get range of motion back in it. And still hoping to get the painting finished before christmas... at this point it will take a miracle. Good thing I believe in miracles!
