Guest guest
I don't post here very often but I read the posts and they have helped. My friend has RSD and was on an anti-depressant that helped her get up and out in spite of pain. her new doctor said it was much too old of a medication and put her on celexa. all she feels after a month is " blah' -no interest in anything. But going off the triavil cleared up her foggy thoughts and forgetfulness. Can anyone recommend another anti-depressant to get you up and going and not feel Blah. Her Doctor is going to have her wait 2 more weeks. any help would be appreciated. thanks, cat in Ct
Guest guest
Actually, the one she was on, even though older, is till one of the most popular anti-Depressants used for people in chronic pain. I've tried many and it's the only one that even closely worked. Sadly I had to stop taking it due to having a very rare side effect with it. I don't understand why a DR. would take anyone of it, just cause it's an older one, if it was working?? Did she want to try other ones as well? Hmm.. Well, another one that's often prescribed for people in chronic pain, that's not an older one is Cymbalta. I've heard of many people having good results from it. However, I have RSD (and chronic fatigue) and it didn't work for me at all, everyone is different though. Hope this helps ---Cat in CT wrote: > > I don't post here very often but I read the posts and they have helped.
