I never heard about notification either. I'm SO glad my doctor

started me on treatment based on suspicion! Those extra few days

before the results came back could have been very bad otherwise.

That's what creeps me out.

I've wondered about where I might have come across it, the most

likely being that my recently graduated son is helping to coach the

wrestling team. They're notoriously bad about not staying out of the

action while they have sores, and most never get them checked by the

doctor. My son got staph twice that way.
