Guest guest
okay-- I'm curious here. Anybody out there who has used milk (and other dairy) as part of the protein component of their post surgery regime? *Especially* proximals and less drastic distals, and people who (obviously) did not become lactose intolerant. I belong to a local support group of about 150 people, have met several surgeons, have a whole program from Alvarado -- and the only place I've ever heard this talk against milk consumption -- is here...from one principal source. SO: anyone else want to chime in here with information or recommendations from their own surgeons-nutritionists-other sources?? Anyone who has lost weight after surgery while drinking milk?? Again: maybe the key to this advise is whether the surgry was proximal or distal. But-- I'm still curious. Peggy
