Guest guest
I use Mylan and brands and they are both easy to peel off. Ask at the pharmacist counter and they can show you. It should not be difficult or something is wrong. Best of luck. Becky in Illinois
Guest guest
How are the Fentanyl patches? Can I take them with Oxycodone and Tramadol? They pills work ok unless I want to walk or stand for a period of time. I need to lose weight and that means moving..ugh I also heard they were expensive. Guest guest
I've been wearing the patches for over 10 years now. I used to have a problem with them staying on, and I did like everyone else and got the overlays to put on them. They started making my skin really sore so I stopped using the overlays. Now I stick them on my butt and they stay on really good. I even take a shower with them on and have no problem. I used to wear them on my upper arm and I never wore sleeveless shirts because I didn't want anyone to see I wore the patch. I'm so happy I can wear a sleeveless shirt again. The patches have helped me a lot but I want to get off of them so bad. I've tried to get off of them but the withdrawal is terrible! If anyone has gotten off of them and didn't have such a hard time let me know how you did it. Angie
Guest guest
Angie, What kind of withdrawal problems are you experiencing? I am getting ready to try to go off and maybe I won't be able to either. I know I don't want my pain back so if I have to wear them the rest of my life, so be it. Guest guest
Becky, When I went through withdrawals it was the worse thing that I've have been through. First I started feeling very agitated then very depressed. About the 4th day of feeling agitated and depressed, upset stomach and diarrhea was added along with chills and fever. I have never felt so bad in my life. After about 9 days of feeling bad my husband had to call an ambulance because my blood pressure hit rock bottom. I was so week I couldn't even walk to my bathroom only 4 steps away. When I got to the emergency room the doctor gave me a morphine shot and I felt a lot better, but I was also mad at my self for letting the doctor give me the shot because I was almost home free. That was the first time I tried. The second time I tried I went to a doctor and got suboxone. It is a medicine that keeps you from going into withdrawals. I did really well with it, but I couldn't get out of bed until around 2 or 3 in the afternoon because of my pain. I went to the doctor and told him I couldn't live that way so I ended up getting back on the patch. It was either the patch or pills and I hate taking pills. I want to try to get off of the patch again and see if I can control my fibromyalgia with exercise and diet. I don't know if it will work or if I can even do it, but if I can get off the patches without having to go through hell I'm going to give the exercise and diet a try. If you have never heard of suboxone type it into google or yahoo and read about it. Good luck to you!
