Thanks, . My condolences about Molly - I have three dogs and four cats, so I understand how much animals mean to us. There's nothing better than a hug from one of my sweeties :). Hey !! So happy to hear your feeling some better. Puppies are great !!! You'll have to keep us up on Baxter's pranks. Once we had puppies that chewed ( big holes) into all our party guest's coats. We were playing some game outside and they all left their coats (spring time) on the lawn chairs. That was so embarrassing!!!! Funny now LOL So remember its all fun and games until Baxter chews your favourite pair of shoes. LOL Take care

  • 2 weeks later...

I've had it for almost six weeks now Deborah... severe coughing, lungs

are so congested I sound like I am going to cough up a lung anytime

now... SEVERE headaches, achy all over.... and the fibromyalgia pain

hasn't diminished at all during all this. I certainly feel for you. So

far I haven't found anything that helps.. I've tried Tylenol cold and

flu, day quil, nothing seems to be helping with the lung congestion

and the coughing. Course, I have had to work during this entire time

of being sick since we don't have any sick leave here yet so that has

not helped matters at all. I do know that all I want to do is curl up

in bed and try to stay warm... seems like I am freezing all the time.

I hope you get better soon!

this dreadful respiratory infection that seems to making it's way

around. My mom had this over the holidays, then my fiance got it and I

just started with it this past saturday. OMG I feel like crap. I have

costochondritis with the FM along with a list of other things wrong

but I have to say this is horrible. My chest hurts so bad and have

started again with waking with severe headaches in the middle of the

night. My meds were working GREAT till this crap set in. It has

intensified everything I have.

[image removed] 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.3. To unsubscribe the e-mail is: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group-unsubscribe 4. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at the same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take something another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things that one member may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even though we who deal with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple illnesses try to keep a sense of humor.5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad day pls let us know so that we can do our best to offer our support.Have a nice day everyone.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that I am still alive and not ignoring anyone.

I can rarely get to my computer because I have been so busy working. Since our

basement flooding, we are going to have to strip it to bare bones even though we

have had fans going 24/7. Yes, it causes me more pain and problems, but it has

to be done.

Plus, I have been watching my cousin, who happens to be grounded, and if I don't

watch him, he tries to get away with things lol.

Both Joe and I are stressed about the basement since we are going to have to

strip everything. I am not allergic to mold, but I get all the symptoms of

being allergic to it. It is a HUGE irritant for my body and has been making me

itch and my throat get tight.

Benadryl doesn't help since it's not an allergic reaction. I've been using

rubbing alcohol and cortizone 10 for the itching and have the windows open

pretty much 24/7.

We have ripped up all the carpet and drywall that we thought was affected. But,

apparently there is more since more carpet and walls are wet and producing mold

and mildew. So many people in this city and on base and surrounding areas

flooded so badly. Roads were washed out and everything.

I keep trying to look at it like this: We planned on remodeling the basement

anyway lol. We are just getting to do it earlier than planned lol.

I hope to be able to get to the computer more often soon. If my cousin is

finished with being grounded on Wednesday, then I can on Thursday get to the

groups again lol. He's been grounded since the beginning of May, which I think

is ridiculous for what he did, but I'm not the parent. So, I follow what they

want.

Please say some prayers and good thoughts that this whole area can recover

quickly and everyone can fix their homes quickly since none of it's covered,

even under flood insurance!

Love,

Becky
