Guest guest
I also have balance problems. They think it is that way due to meds.I have bone spurs in my ankles, wrists & lower back due to breaking them when I fall. I recently broke my lower back 2 bones just above my tailbone ,knocked the tips off my spine. I did it about a month ago & it still hurts.Hubby & sons took out the outside stairs & made a ramp just for me because I kept falling up & down the darned things. It was a big surprise. They did it while I was in Bangor with my mother.I was so proud of all my boys, I cried. I use canes to keep my balance.I use those metal wrist crutches They help a great deal with my balance. Blessed be, Ms.Katurah ________________________________ To: chronic_pain Sent: Thu, July 22, 2010 10:48:27 AM Subject: balance problems Could my 'balance' troubles be from low blood pressure? I tested myself at wake up and it was 89/53, after breakfast, it was 80/50, nerve pain still here but well hidden under pain medications. Guest guest
With my balance problems it has always been my motor skills/movements. I also have nerve pain that won't go away. I have been on Lyrica for any type of pain (mostly h/a but it helps the others) but I don't know what to take with the stuff that goes over that. I have low blood pressure to begin with but never really thought that having my bp go lower could bother balance. It can make you dizzy or lightheaded. That I know. I go here for my information: http://www.webmd.com there is low bp http://www.webmd.com/heart/understanding-low-blood-pressure-basics and Balance exercises: http://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/tc/quick-tips-improving-your-balance-get-s\ tarted I looked up motor skills and got brain stuff and am not sure if that pertains to you or not . I think it depends on what all your symptoms are, not just that you are off balanced and have nerve pain. Me, I am off balanced and probably be that way the rest of my life due to having a brain tumor in 2007 to 2009, I get checked this fall and pray that it is still gone since my balance, writing, talking are all affected. I want to help more and i hope i helped some, HUGS and hope you find your answer, let us know, G/WI My animals aren't my whole life, but my life wouldn't be whole without them. Guest guest
Hi All, I have balance problem. I don't what it's from. Possible from being in the car accident over 3 years ago. When I go to Physical Therapy they have a board and want me to try to balance myself. They know I sucks on that part. On August 5th I will go to a Neurologist and see why I'm jerking my arms, legs, and sometime my face is like a " funny face " and sometime I hit myself for no reason. I hope it's nothing serious. God I hope it's nothing serious. I have enough to deal with. \ Christa
Guest guest
Are you taking any medication that causes tardive dyskinosea? That's the first thing I thought of as I was reading your message.
