Guest guest
Hello Margaret, I had my re-surfacing operation at the Priory Hospital so I know you will have the best of care. There are lots of places to visit in and around Birmingham - I'm presuming that your daughter will have a car. Here are a few suggestions: In Birmingham: The Botanical Gardens are close by the Priory Jewellery Quarter and Museum Cadbury World (Chocolate making) Gas Street Basin -Canal boat trips Warwick Castle Kenilworth Castle Coventry Cathedral Stratford upon Avon - Shakespeare's birthplace (www.shakespeare.org.uk) - on Sundays there is a special Steam train trip from Birmingham Black Country Living Museum, Dudley Ironbridge Gorge Museums Hagley Hall, Hagley Severn Valley Railway - Kidderminster-Bewdley-Bridgenorth www.svr.co.uk You'll be wanting to leap out of that hospital bed to join her!!!!! A good place to look for accomodation is http://www.smoothhound.co.uk/birmingh.htmlIt links up to Multimap to pinpointthe locations on a map. best wishes Dorothy
