Guest guest
Hello Bennie and Group. I have been suffering with pain in my back, legs, buttocks, hips and feet for 3 years now. Something has started causing me pain in my arms, hands, fingers, etc. I suffered for 2 years before any treatment, other than 6 visits to the ER. I don't have insurance and live with my boyfriend in Virginia. Turns out, this wonderful man of 4 years, is not a " in sickness and health partner. " We are both 47 years young and agreed to no game playing, when I left my state to move in with him. I can't work, barely able to cook meals and do laundry. Thanks for letting me VENT. My pain is horrible in my legs. When I pick something off the floor, I have to get on my knees, then my legs won't let me pull my self up without crawling to whatever is near to help pull myself up. I have a primary care doc, neuro doc, and thank goodness I now have pain management doc. Spinal MRI only showed minimal arthritis. Muscle/nerve test on my legs didn't show anything. I'm grateful that I have a great pain doctor,so far. I have a history of depression after a horrible divorce 12 years ago. Guys, what kind of Doctor do I need? Please Help. I go to pain doctor Thursday. I really do hope All of you have some relief today and can do what your heart desires. I need to be able to work and take care of myself. Guest guest
Connie It sounds as though a rheumatologist is probably the next step. You didn't mention blood work, trigger points for fibro. or if you are on any meds. From what you described it doesn't sound like a back problem. I hope you are able to get some answers. You know without insurance, your primary should be able to run some basic tests to see if you indeed have a auto immune type disease. Deb RN Debra >Connie wrote: >My pain is horrible in my legs.
