Cherly, I also have heard great things about the number bed, I have a tempur

pedic / memory foam type mattress and it has made such a difference. When its

time for a new mattress I will check the number mattress because I believe it is

a foam plus air. Don't be afraid to shop around!

I bought a new hard mattress in 1998, but now I wake up early in the morning in

pain. Maybe it's time to get a new bed. If so, does anyone have any

recommendations. I've heard a lot about the sleep number bed, but mostly

advertisements.

My next door neighbor swears by the sleep number bed too. They have a host of

health problems.

I wish I could afford to try one. Good luck!

My Dad and both of my brothers have sleep number beds and we all have really bad

back problems (genetic). Anyway about 8 months or so ago we badly needed a new

bed so we took the plunge and bought a sleep number.

I really like it. It is not a magic bullet in that it takes my pain away but I

sleep really good on it.

Obviously you can keep adjusting till you find the right level of comfort for

you. Right now I'm playing with increasing my number to a little more firmness

to see if that helps with pain any.

I would advice you to go into a sleep number store and they will put you on a

bed and show you on their computer what number is right for you by how your

pressure points relax. Well they can explain it better than me.
