Clonazapan is a relaxant, both of the muscles and of anxiety.

Relatively mild. It can be addictive if taken for any decent amount of

time. It is not designed to have effect on pain issues per say unless

part of the pain syndrome is from muscular tightness but it may help

relax you so you don't go off the deep end.

My hubby has been on that med for 11 years and so far it hasn't caused any side

affects, except making him calm. He is on it for extreme anxiety. It works

really well for him. I would recommend it.
