Hi, new here.

Have been on amitriptyline for past 2.5 years for chronic pain from ruptured

disk in spine and migraines.

Recently due to bladder issues (side effect of drug) was suggested I come off of

it which I have and now realise how doped up I have been on it - particularly

in the mornings.

I also have suffered acute depression in the past 2 years which seems to be

subsiding so am wondering if it's possible that is another side effect of the

drug??? Any experiences anyone??

The downside is that I am in bad nauseaous pain again and am waiting to see a

pain specialist to see if there is an alternative drug I can take.

Would appreciate your thoughts or being pointed to any relevant information.
