Has anyone ever had a lap band removed?

HELP!

I have been in some serious pain for about 10 days. Thought at first it was a

gallbladder attack, but now after just not eating for 2 days, I can tell is the

gastric band. The info online says that it can be removed at any time so hoping

it's not a big deal.

The lap band was the biggest mistake I ver made. I bottom out in surgery, went

into a coma and was on life support for three days and in the hospital for seven

days for a " minor surgery. " And the damn thing has only minimally helped. I've

lost about 65 lbs. then gained 55, then lost 60 so I guess I am better off. But

I am scared to death of any kind of surgery now.

Anyone had these experiences? Please?
