The same thing happened to me and countless other people. I've just got it on my

chart as a medicine I'm allergic too. I warn everyone against it. A Dr. even

tried to prescribe it to my 9 year old and its not even for kids! She already

has back problems, so that would have been a tragedy waiting to happen.

Sorry and Donpat and whomever else has had to endure this. One of my best

friends pain ALL started with Leviquin, its nasty stuff, especially when there

are tried and true older antibiotics that work just as well.

OH mY Gddd! I knew it. It was after I took Levaquin for a respiratory infection

that my tendon problems began.

Agreed. It made me so sick and gave several people I know chronic

tendon issues. Scary stuff!

They like to prescribe Levaquin because it is a broad spectrum antiobiotic, but

there are others as they say and if you do not want to take it, have it put on

your chart.

Do not give Levaquin. You do not need to give a reason.

I don't like that either. It never quite takes all the infection away. I always

ask for good ole amoxycillan.
