Guest guest
I had some botox for Migraines and agree that the drs don't consider the ramifications of knocking out one set of muscles and what that will do to the entirety of the body afterward. About a week after the botox treatment, which included areas in my neck and upper back as well as my forehead, I would have about a week long migraine but then the migraines seem to be gone for a couple of weeks. The tremendous pain I experienced afterward just wasn't worth it for me to continue with this treatment, although the wrinkles on my forehead completely disappeared and that looked quite nice. I also had insurance reject paying for it so that was another problem. If it had worked i may have continued but to have to pay hundreds of dollars and not have it really work well didn't make sense. I found that taking verapamil was far better but again there is always something unexpected that occurs and that was I coudn't tolerate the low blood pressure and dizziness from the verapamil so now I take it only once a week. I still have migraines but they aren't as severe as before. The pain that really gets to me now is undiagnosed, feels internal, and started just recently. a
