Guest guest
I've had a herniated disc between L4-L5 since 1997. Until January I occasionally took 10 mg Perocet about 3 or 4 days a week. And usually just 1 sometimes 2 for the day. Then my back went haywire. I've been taking Vicodin 10 mg 2 at 10 am 2 at 3 pm and 1 at 7 pm, but there's too much time in between and the single one a night isn't enough. The doctor tried Morphine Sulfate 10.5 but it cause shallow breathing. I tried the Duragesic patches in 2003 and had a problem at night with shallow breathing but he really pushed for me to try it again. I've been trying to get him to put me on Oxycodone but he just doesn't want to as the Percocet sometimes made me sweat a lot. I just started the patch this morning and am waiting. All the information on it warms you about respiratory problems so I'm a little scared. The pain is really bad most of the time. It is better when I take 2 Vicodin together. I'm also seeing a chiropractor 3 times a week and an acupuncturist once a week for about 6 weeks now. Any thoughts? Thanks, Cheryl Tiller
