Taking matters into my own hands

I finally decided to take matters into my own hands towards getting help for my

pain, rather than wait for my current doctor to see me again. Due to the fact

that it doesn't seem like she cares about how I am feeling nor does she even try

to run further tests to try to find something wrong.

It is extremely frustrating when you know there is other tests that can be run,

and numerous other types of medications and treatments that could possibly help

me but the doctors don't seem to care.

Even though I told her that the pills she has got me on do not work and I feel

miserable, she just keeps renewing the same prescription. I am going nuts all I

can think about is the pain and how it's going to effect the rest of my

day,tomorrow, and the next day.

I have to plan my work and my free time around my pain. That being said I did

some research and calling around and found a reputable pain specialist, my

appointment is in 2 weeks----I can't wait, hopefully i will get the help I need.

Awesome! Good for you! You know, is better to take the bull by the horns than to

wait around for a Doc that don't give a crap! I went through 6 pain management

Doc's until I found the right one, so do not despair, the right Doctor is out

there for you. Good luck!
