Guest guest
I have this book, and I like it. It was helpful as a starting point. My first pain management dept psychologist suggested it to me. What did you think? Did it help you?
Guest guest
I like the book and I like The Pain Survival Guide by Dennis Turk. Both books are helpful if you are in the right mental place. They help you learn how to observe yourself and others, to start tracking what it is you do and to find ways of helping you achieve more positive outcomes. But it is a long hard process for many people. Even if we are cool with looking at ourselves objectively, it can be a daunting process. Some people are just not ready to do that. For others who are it can be helpful.
