Guest guest
I have chronic pain, fibro, spinal stenosis, failed back surgery, arthritis, oh my! Pain md gave me a lidocane injection in upper back to help with pain radiating down my arms and prescribed clonidine patch for additional pain relief. Is it safe to use ? I am on so many rxs and wary of adding another to my body. I appreciate any info anyone might have. Thanks. Michele

And even then you just have to try it yourself to see whether you can tolerate any side effects. Have you asked your doctor about your concerns? If you want more information, also ask your pharmacist. Also be sure to read all the information that comes with your medication. A great site for drug information - including potential side effects and interactions - is www.pdrhealth.com . It's the Physician's Desk Reference online and written for consumers so it's easy to understand. Just remember that just because a side effect is listed, that doesn't mean you're automatically going to have it. Only a tiny, tiny percentage of people who take any drug have any of the side effects. Sometimes people are scared to even try a drug because of all the potential problems that are listed, when in all probability they won't have any of those effects at all and the drug could help. But be sure you won't have any interactions with your other medications. Cheryl in AZ Moderator
Guest guest
I didn't know they could inject the lidocaine! That sure would help my stenosis in Thoracic region! I use those patches every single day and now they are giving me night sweats! I'm also thinking of nerve ablation, has anyone has those done in Thoracic region?
