Guest guest
Only thing I can ask is if they've tried migraine medications, preventative/abortive types? I know headaches where I thought of banging my head till I knocked myself out, but thought that might cause more problems, truly though, the thought of drilling a hole in my skull right where the pain was might get rid of it. Anything to make it stop. Severe pain, vomiting and begging the ER doctor to please put me out of my misery right now. Once we had to stop for gas to get to the hospital and a police officer saw me sitting in the van and asked what was wrong and I told him I was having a migraine. I guess the look on my face told him how bad the pain was, he called an ambulance for me and said that would get me seen faster. My husband thanked him and told me later he felt relieved because he was frightened for me. I'm thankful your back is not the cause of pain for you. That's good to hear. Are they cervicogenic, cluster, migraine, tension, hemicrania continua, etc.? The reason I ask, is that the treatments vary for each one. I suffer with some very wicked head pain. It started when I was a toddler, so I've lived with it for more than fifty years. Some things work for some kinds of headaches and do nothing for others. When head pain is caused by a combination, it can get really tricky to treat with much success. I have had success with certain migraine and cervicogenic headaches, but not much luck with the clusters. Lyndi
Guest guest
I had a car accident 3 years ago and I have migraines from it, things that I find help are yoga. It straightening the muscles and loosening the tension in them as well. Also I am taking a medicine call Topiramate in low doses I am told it is good for migraines and it works for me, and mine are pretty severe. I might also look into massage therapy for your neck and shoulders or even acupuncture that might also help. Just some suggestions. Take Care, wrote: Hello !
