Guest guest
Exactly! Penny Re: re: New to Group > > It sounds terrrible, I know. But how are you going to do that? It takes 3 of us to try to get some Tylenol into her (two to hold her down and one to pour....and we all have to bathe afterwards). So how are we going to get conformers in and out? > How can you do that indeed! Put contact lenses into the eyes of a young autistic child? Hahahahaha!!!!!!! Better to floss a tiger's teeth. You're not being neglectful. you're being practical. Jacquie
Guest guest
, One thing I don't think anyone has mentioned, if she is a climber, be sure to anchor dressers, bookcases, grandfathers clocks and things like that to your walls. If they fall onto a child, they can kill them! You can anchor them easily with L brackets and just screw them into a wall stud. Sue

I am on a number of medications, which is quite depressing, as I am 37 years old. I was diagnosed in 1999, and have been struggling with the reality of this awful disease ever since. I'm looking forward to interacting with this support group.
