Hi Joe Are you taking anything for the actual arthritis ie an int-inflammatory medications. Ibuprofen, aspirin, or any prescription medications. A short term of prednisone might help. What about massage therapy? Heat/ or ice packs can be helpful too. One cheap way, is to either put a tube sock with rice in it in the microwave, plus 1/2 cup of water then heat it. You can also put a rice filled tube sock in the freezer for a cheap ice pack. It isn't as messy as frozen peas, or ice in a bag. One other treatment is Radiofrequency ablation (or RFA).
